Panel: Improving consumer, commercial and infrastructure energy efficiency 

Energy efficiency is essential for achieving net zero emissions but is often overlooked in favour of technologies like electric vehicles and renewables. Doubling energy efficiency requires significant government support and policy intervention. Robust infrastructure is vital to support the increased demand for clean energy technologies. Currently, over 70% of energy production and consumption is wasted in conversion and transmission, highlighting the need for efficient systems and infrastructure.
